Wahnsinn Industries new single inspired by universe of Mad Max

 

DEFOX RECORDS and INVINCIBLE RECORDS proudly announce a new production, a high energy single by futurist rockers WAHNSINN titled "Fuoco ... Cammina con me". The release also contains in the virtual B side a remix of the song "Claustrofobia". For the first time the band adopts the new WAHNSINN INDUSTRIES moniker.

The italian band that stands out for the use of a particular make-up and look that characterizes the concept inspired by a dystopian future present the single describing it as "Shamelessly, exuberantly and happily inspired by the high octane universe of Mad Max. 

Wahnsinn Industries, with the solid collaboration of DaLima video production; introduces a small grain of sand, a small fragment of a puzzle that promises to be juicy and tortuous. With "Fuoco ... Maverick is Ricky De Camargo second album

DeFox Records and Heart Of Steel Records are really proud to announce the second instrumental solo album of guitar wizard Ricky De Camargo.

The album titled “Maverick” contains seven instrumental songs featuring guitar riffs, vibrant solos and magnificent keyboards sound. 

Guitarist Ricky De Camargo lives in Brazil and he has played in some rock and metal bands from his country, he love Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Bumblefoot and all rock guitar masters! 

The release will be published in September 25th - 2020.

The digital album available on every worldwide webstores, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer, Google Play, Tidal, Shazam...YouTube Music also.

This will be Ricky's second Instrumental Solo Album. In this record, Ricky bring us the same concept of rock, prog rock and many guitar lines. Everything very well mixed with orchestral arrangements. The album has 7 Instrumental Tracks. All writen and arranged by Ricky in his studio. The record process took around 3 months from start to finish. 

Ricky played, programed and recorded all the guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, synths solos and orchestral arrangements. A truly one man band project. In this album, Ricky put all the best songs that came up during the pre-production. Making a perfect balanced record.

 

The opening track "Maverick" it's a orchestral/prog-metal tune that it's divided in two parts. The first one it's more metal and direct. The second half give us the taste of prog-metal, with odd time signatures, dark riffs that switchs during all the second part, meanwhile synths solos runs during the next two minutes.

The next track "Lifestream" it's a ballad in Re minor. It's a track about overcome depression and keep going.

The third track "Sunrise in your Eyes" was recorded in honor of the Asians. People that Ricky has the greatest respect and admiration.

"Full Throttle, the fourth track, is a more direct rock song on the album. It is about doing the best you can in what you do in this life.

"The Angel's Choir", it's the fifth track from album. It's a more Gospel tune, with several choirs arrangements and several time signatures changes. 11/8, 7/8 and 8/8 to be more precisely. Ricky also wrote the Synth Solo that we have in this one.

The sixth track from "Maverick" it's "Twilight". A track that Ricky wrote many years ago.

According to ricky, he always tried to improve his guitar technique in front of his house watching the sunset.

That was the inspiration for the track.

The last song on the album is "Shadows Will Fade Someday". A complete song from the orchestra with many changes of tones.

To complete the album, Ricky wanted to have a song that would challenge him technically and theoretically, in terms of composition.

Then, after days and days of composing, he finally achieved a harmony that fulfilled the requirements he intended for this song.

Prehispanic Death Metal XIPE TOTEC has returned with a fifth album

The legendary Prehispanic Death Metal XIPE TOTEC has returned with a new album called "Axomimitl" (crossed with arrows in Nahuatl language). This 2017 duo formed by Alex Camacho and Martin Martinez have achieved their most experimental album throughout their career. They gathered elements of their previous works to unify in "Axomimitl" a solid work in melody, harmony, speed, and brutality between multiple Pre-Columbian passages.
The introductions of Anthropology Documentaries and films on pre-Hispanic topics have been added here to show the listener a cultural boost. They follow the lyrics in Nahuatl language to get the appropriate atmosphere that has characterized XIPE TOTEC lately. A marshy, muddy, ancestral sound. A new element in this album has been the synthesizer pads to achieve an epic reminder of the Mesoamerican past cultures.
The longer, more melodic, more epic songs make "Axomimitl" the fundamental resource of composition. They incorporate different flutes and rattles that had not been played on previous records. Human sacrifices, mythology, and ancestral cosmovision, are basic in the lyric line, based on ancient legends and archaeological studies. As the Pre-Hispanic Metal is not only about dancers, nor say that they are warriors, it is also about a lot of reading and research. Here Archeology is a fundamental science as is music to art.
A song in particular, makes use of Spanish acoustic guitars, in strange conjunction with a pre-Hispanic passage. This rare fusion is allusive mainly to miscegenation, predominant in Latin America. Perhaps many find it strange, but the experimentation in this disk of XIPE TOTEC has been the main engine to go ahead.
If you want to listen to a fusion alternative in terms of ancient cultures, especially Mexihcah, the opportunity to listen to this new album by XIPE TOTEC "Axomimitl", wants to devastate your ears and that trips to the past of a Mexico Ancient ... to the mystical path of the Mexihcah.

Mexican Xipe Totec re-release debut album

DEFOX RECORDS and INVINCIBLE RECORDS are excited to annunce the re-release of debut album of cult mexican Death Metal band XIPE TOTEC.

Xipe Totec is a Mexican band formed in 1996. Their first album “Prehispanic Beg” was released through Toaj Records in 1998 and contains ten powerful tracks that vary in sound, but are highly rooted in the Death metal genre. Xipe Totec was primarily thought to act as a self-conscious being, which main goal would be to emphasize the roots of Mexican people. The daily life of Aztec people offered us a vast amount of information that we could transform into song lyrics: The violently conquered Aztec people; the loss of their ancient language; the ancient Mesoamerican history, their cosmological visions, religion and human sacrifices. All of which fits perfectly within the death metal genre. Xipe Totec is considered to be a pioneering band in what today is known as “pre-Hispanic metal”. After several live shows in Mexico, the band split up in 2001 due to internal problems. 

After thirteen years of their debut, the band reunites again to record other albums, “Eztlacuani” (blood thirsty), released by Ablaze records, was a great success. The third album titled “In Moyocoyani”, the title makes allusion to the god Ometeolt, also known as Tezcatlipoca. The sound on this album has matured considerably. Once again, lyrics written in ancient Aztec language can be found here, as well as pre-Hispanic instrumentation in all songs.
The latest labum titled "Miquian" (The moment of death)launched in 2015 is available on digital market.

BarbaRossa ferocity, obscurity and melody

Barbarossa band founded in March 2014 by Lorenzo and Davy, at guitars. 
After meeting in a pub they decided to give birth to a new musical project.
They started to work with hate and love (musically talking), while Lorenzo was Death metal sound-oriented Davy came from a Thrash Metal background and they both wanted to impose their will. 
After some weeks of insults, came the discovery of the concept of diplomacy and they started to go in the right way. They decided to create something based on ferocity, obscurity and melody….something modern but still with solid roots planted in the tradition of death and thrash metal. 
Something technical but that anyway puts the focus on spontaneity of the songwriting.

After some time Cristiano took place behind the drum heads, giving shape and power to Davy’s still unripe riffs, while in the meantime Lorenzo was given the task to make the walls tremble with growl vocals and to dash off the first lyrics.
To complete the line-up, arrived Alex on Bass guitar. He has a really well kept beard, worked out fingers and a growl as deep as an oceanic trench, so how could him not being in?
Barbarossa’s live debut arrived in December 2014 at Britannia pub in Vedelago, with a baptism of fire over expectations and a wide appreciation by the crowd witch pushed the band to carry on the project and to ask the best from herself.
So went on with satisfaction live activity In Northern Italy with some live gigs in Veneto and Emilia Romagna.
Today Barbarossa entering in the underground metal scene with their first ep: Operation Barbarossa, the fruit of long session of composition, whole nights playing and to conceive a lot of songs that they can collect the positive opinion of the worldwide metal kids ...Barbarossa is ready!!

Anastasio Farini return with a new single

DEFOX RECORDS and HEART OF STEEL RECORDS are proud to announce the new single of ANASTASIO FARINI, great guitar virtuoso from Greece!
The song titled "Unchain My Broken Heart" (feat. Hercules Zotos) will be available on every digital worldwide webstores in March 10th, 2016!

Anastasio Farini was born in Thessaloniki (Greece). 
In early age he started taking classical guitar lessons and completed his studies in music theory. His love towards rock'n'roll led him to start playing electric guitar and form his first band called White Rose. 
Was sixteen years old, he play live gigs in several venues, gaining air play from radio stations and a recognition as an upcoming guitar talent through Greek Metal Hammer Magazine. 

He have influences in guitar virtuoso like Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum, Chris Impellitteri, Steve Vai,and many more, led him to create a more melodic personal playing and sound. Since then he has collaborated with many singers and bands as a member or as a session musician. 

His debut album "Lil' Angel" with 9 melodic Hard Rock songs with elements of classic Hard Rock till Glam, and Hair Metal sounds with neoclassical solos have received more positive critics and reviews by the international media all over the world. 
Also Anastasio Farini cooperated with the great singers (Reuben Archer, Dean Mess, Rob Mancini, Pelle Saether, Darren Grant, George Gakis) wherever they in turn gave them their own mark in the final result.

About the single "Unchain My Broken Heart" the vocal line are by the singer Hercules Zotos and very soon will be published the video clip on Youtube.

LYIN RAMPANTs album Up and Cumin reissued

DeFox Records and Heart Of steel Records are really proud to announce the digital reissue of LYIN RAMPANT's amazing debut album, titled "Up and Cumin" released originally in vinyl version in 1987 and reissued in CD by DeFox Records label in 2008.
Album "Up and Cumin" reissue features a completely remastered sound from the original master and contains 8 songs in vein of Melodic Hard Rock, early Def Leppard, Heavy Pettin, Tokyo Blade.

It all started back in 1981 when Stewartie Adams joined his first Pro band, London based rockers Tytan. 
The original incarnation of the band comprised of Dave Dufort, Kevin Riddles, vocalist Kal Swann and guitarists Steve Gibbs and Stewartie Adams. Dufort had, previous to ANGEL WITCH, amassed quite a history in the Rock world with bands stretching back into the early 60's including THE VOICE, THE SCENERY, MIKE OLDFIELD and KEVIN AYERS. 
The drummer was also involved in NW0BHMers the E.F. BAND. 
Despite a fanfare of press Adams left within months and later turned up fronting LYIN' RAMPANT. 
He was replaced by ex-A II Z man Gary Owens.
TYTAN received substantial major record company interest, but opted to sign with indie Kamaflage Records and laid down plans to release the 'Blind Men And Fools' single during 1982 in advance of a proposed album. 
Unfortunately, despite the album being recorded albeit without Stewartie Adams or Gary Owens who also quit the group in 1982, Kamaflage Records went under before it could be released. 
It would not be before 1985 when the album, aptly titled 'Rough Justice', finally emerged through the Metal Masters label. 

Glasgow born guitarist and vocalist Stewartie Adams came back home to Scotland in 1982 and got together with old friends Cami Morlotti,Stewart Campbell and DD Gray to form a band called FALKEN. 
After a few months he then teamed up with ex HEAVY PETTIN guitarist Eddie Trainer, drummer Tam Creamer (Tam Cramer) vocalist Gordon Johnston and Cami Morlotti again, later to be replaced by Edinburgh born bass player Georgie Pringle, after the band named Escape had to be changed to form LYIN' RAMPANT, Stewartie took over the vocals when Gordon had to leave the band in 1986, they later added keyboard player Paul Stephens also from Edinburgh, There debut and only album UP and Cumin was released in 1987 by independent label Prism Records,The band eventually split in 1991 due to the unfortunate demise of Prism records and a number of line up changes.

And now in the new millennium, the Lyin Rampant and their music will be available for Rock fans in every device and every country in the world!

Praeludium is a band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, founded in 2014, earlier this summer they recorded their first EP ‘Birth’ with three compositions.
The leader of the band Gustavo Scholz is well known to have formed early 2000 the band called Alma Prisma (progressive metal genre) with whom he has played around for his country and as the opening for some international groups like Angra.
In 2007 he recorded a full album, titled "All the Gates of a new dream".
Currently Praeludium are recording new songs for the full-length album, scheduled for 2016.

Guitar wizard DANIELE Bat MARASPIN announce new songs

Daniele Maraspin, born in 1988 in Trieste, Italy, began playing piano at the age of 6. At 11, he was admitted to the cello class at the Conservatory of Trieste. In 2004, he took guitar lessons from guitarist
Gianni Rojatti and played in local bands. On 2013, Daniele graduated with full mark and honour at the Lizard Accademy, Firenze. In the same period, he studied jazz music with Andrea Massaria.
On 2012 he began to work as music teacher at the Cam-Lizard Accademy in Monfalcone, Gorizia.
Moreover he listened dubstep music which had deeply influenced the sound of his first Ep, A Bat's Project. It mixed up extreme metal riff with incredible dubstep sound and exciting shred solos.

ABOUT “A Bat's project”
Daniele wanted to create a solo project.
Gianni Rojatti decided to help him in the role of music producer.
Erik Tulissio played all the drums in the Ep.
Finally Giacomo Castellano accepted to mix and master “A Bat's project” Ep.

Shivan announce third album with Heart Of Steel Records

Heart Of Steel Records is pleased to announce the gothic metal veterans SHIVAN.

Shivan were born in the 90's, from the idea of founder member Giovanni Landolina, as a band of friends in their twenties,
with a great passion for gothic/black metal (very popular in these years). In 1997 the band recorded their first four track demo titled "Bitter As Gall" (in cassette tape); it got good reviews and allowed the band to perform their first live gigs in Veneto, Italy. During the following years, took place the songwriting process, influenced by black and extreme metal while maintaining a decadent sound, that lead Shivan to record their first full-lenght "Whatever Lot's Above", released in 2002 by Pulsar Light Records. 

With Massimo "Beba" on vocals and Francesco Soccal on drums, the sound of the band changed, leaving behind the extreme side, to come closer to bands like Paradise Lost, Anathema and Moonspell and adding the anger of classic metal and dark/wave sounds. 

Several years later, this line up entered the studio to record the their second album "When Wishes Sicken": 8 tracks and a remix, done at Majestic Studios 
and published by My kingdom Music in 2007.
The band supported the release with many gigs, getting reviews, interviews and radio streams. In 2011, a cover of the song "Aurora B" by Krisma (renowned new wave/electronic band from Italy) is recorded and included in the official tribute release "Chybernation". Meanwhile, bass player Elia Dalla Pola and guitar player Fausto Cancian joined the band. Shivan are now back with a new work, which brings a more decadent and angry sound and explores the lives of each member through their emotions, fears and aspirations.

"Necessary Illusions", recorded by Rossano Palù (DB Boulevard/La Fuertezza), features 8 tracks of speed/gothic metal, where the listener is on the edge 
between the abyss and the sublime.
For fans of Anathema, Paradise Lost, Moonspell and Tiamat.

EXCLUSIVE Interview with british prog sensation BABYSUN

We have talked with the guys about the story of the band, below the interview!

1. Hi guys, tell us when you formed Babysun?
Babysun was formed in 2009

2. Your Ep contains a number of styles, what is the genre of your sound?
We think it’s somewhere in the Alternative genre, maybe Electonic/Ambient Psychedelic Pop...to be honest we’re not really sure, you tell us.

3. What is the source of inspiration for the lyrics? Who writes them?
Vic writes the lyrics and they’re a combination of experiences, observation and personal views on everything from love, to politics.

4. What are the reasons by which you decide to give your band the name "Babysun"?
I liked the idea of something that suggested positivity and hope and that we are all little baby suns with a light to shine. I know, that sounds a bit hippy but hey.

5. Your album will be promoted in international media, what are your expectations?
We are just pleased to have a label who felt the material had a place and that people would like it. We don’t have any major expectations, just hope that the music can reach as many people as possible across the world and that they enjoy it.

6. To promote the record are you planning a live tour?
We would love to do some ‘live’ work as the project has been mainly a studio thing the last few years. Hopefully the EP release can generate enough of a buzz for us to entice a good ‘live’ agent or agents to help us co-ordinate that. So anyone out there who would like to get involved in that please contact us....we are here and ready to go.

7. Have you played in some important festivals?
Yes in the past we have played various festivals in the UK and some smaller events in Europe, we did open the Karel Muse Expo in Cagliari a few years ago too, that was particularly nice to be involved in.

8. I would like to have your own point of view about the poor sales of the CD's, it's causedby the internet? Technological development? or it's changed the mentality of the fans? 
I feel that maybe music isn’t so much of a ‘special’ thing to a lot of young people now as it’s so easily available and instant. Also the trend is for huge playlists of single tracks on personal devices now and not so much about having favourite bands/artists albums and becoming real fans and following that bands career the way I certainly would have done in my younger days...on the other hand the technological developments have given more new artists a platform to expose their music to the world, I believe that is a positive thing.

9. This is your first work for Brit Beat Records, what made you switch to them?
We were excited by the labels enthusiasm for the material and how much they wanted to help us promote the music.

10.Tell us a few funny anecdotes, in the past?
Vic was once quizzed by a rather drunk person at a ‘live’ show ‘How come if musicians were so good at what they did why couldn’t they create another music key like ‘H’ and why hadn’t it been done in all the years? He had no answer.
