ILLUCIA Old School Heavy Metal

DeFox Records and Heart Of Steel Records are proudly to announce the debut EP of Heavy Metal band from India called ILLUCIA.
The product it's entitled "111".
The EP contains five solid Old School Heavy Metal songs in vein of epic act as Omen, Maiden and Manilla Road. The singer is a special guest, Vineesh Venugopal from the legendary band Lucidreams from Bangalore, India. 
The release will be published in December 5th - 2019.

The Italian site HMM - Heavy Metal Music defines the Illucia band as "Amazing the epic sound of the Indian band that ranks among the best realities coming from South Asia"

Illucia was formed in 2014, as a three piece band by Nitin Charles Martin, Srivatsa B and Vishal Vineesh. 
The main influences are Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manowar, Omen, King Diamond, Saxon, Accept  etc.
Their career took off with performances at Sunday Jam, The Grand Freedom Jam annually, World Music Day and Bangalore Open Streets. 
Along with gigging, Illucia have also won 1st place at NIRVAAN (SJC Battle of Bands) 2nd Place at Phenomenon and have played at a fundraising event in Mallya Aditi International School. 
The band has also played on professional platforms such as the Dio Tribute Gig at Indigo Live Music Bar, Bonded By Blood (alongside Symphonic Eternity), United By Hatred (alongside Piston and Speedtrip), Agro Coastal Café, Legends of Rock at LeRock and Tuesday Jam at Big Pitcher.
Over the years They have had a lot of line-up changes but the core of the band has always been the trio of Nitin, Srivatsa and Vishal until recently Vishal had to leave the band due to certain reasons. 
The first EP titled “111” was self released on 6th September 2019 and is available on Bandcamp in physical copies, in Cd format.

X-Hero come back

Mirko DeFox and X-HERO to celebrate the 30 years since the release of the debut album, dated 1987, publish a EP entitled "Cosmic Virgin" with two unpublished tracks, "My ship knows" and "Long legs Razorblade" recorded in the middle of the years 2000 at the Vision Studios in Vicenza.

As Mirko tells, the band's repertoire was moving with melodic Hard Rock tunes with finest Prog Metal and Fusion.
Mirko's constant search for stylistic solutions away from homologation with trends and genres of the moment, leads him to create a different, visceral album where the glories of the past are barely perceptible, and the shades, riffs and arrangements so they become a chaotic collection of unexpressed moods.
For a variety of reasons, the album will never see the light but after a decade, some recordings will be released in the form of EP.

The song "My ship knows" is an explicit metaphor on the journey of humanity in search of a truth until now denied, while "Long legs Razorblade" evokes contradictions of sometimes life-threatening, sometimes deadly and relentless life.
With Mirko DeFox the line-up was completed by Herman Tonini (current band axeman) and Paris Bertoldo on guitars, Davide Pangrazzi on drums and Ivano Pangrazzi on bass.
The X-HERO performed live in northern Italy and in Slovenia and Croatia, to remember the performances of the 2005 and 2007 editions of the 80's Italian Metal Legion Festival, in 2005 the 80's Italian Metal Legion WINTER's Season, concerts with Bud Tribe, Rain, Dark Ages, Heat, Rosko's.

The visonary cover artwork is made by the extraordinary RRR Remi Real Rock for ANL.

The official release date is November 19, 2017, and the product will be distributed around the world on the best digital stores, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer, Google Play Music and many more.

Anastasio Farini return with a new single

DEFOX RECORDS and HEART OF STEEL RECORDS are proud to announce the new single of ANASTASIO FARINI, great guitar virtuoso from Greece!
The song titled "Unchain My Broken Heart" (feat. Hercules Zotos) will be available on every digital worldwide webstores in March 10th, 2016!

Anastasio Farini was born in Thessaloniki (Greece). 
In early age he started taking classical guitar lessons and completed his studies in music theory. His love towards rock'n'roll led him to start playing electric guitar and form his first band called White Rose. 
Was sixteen years old, he play live gigs in several venues, gaining air play from radio stations and a recognition as an upcoming guitar talent through Greek Metal Hammer Magazine. 

He have influences in guitar virtuoso like Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum, Chris Impellitteri, Steve Vai,and many more, led him to create a more melodic personal playing and sound. Since then he has collaborated with many singers and bands as a member or as a session musician. 

His debut album "Lil' Angel" with 9 melodic Hard Rock songs with elements of classic Hard Rock till Glam, and Hair Metal sounds with neoclassical solos have received more positive critics and reviews by the international media all over the world. 
Also Anastasio Farini cooperated with the great singers (Reuben Archer, Dean Mess, Rob Mancini, Pelle Saether, Darren Grant, George Gakis) wherever they in turn gave them their own mark in the final result.

About the single "Unchain My Broken Heart" the vocal line are by the singer Hercules Zotos and very soon will be published the video clip on Youtube.

It all started back in 1981 when Stewartie Adams joined his first Pro band, London based rockers Tytan. 
The original incarnation of the band comprised of Dave Dufort, Kevin Riddles, vocalist Kal Swann and guitarists Steve Gibbs and Stewartie Adams. Dufort had, previous to ANGEL WITCH, amassed quite a history in the Rock world with bands stretching back into the early 60's including THE VOICE, THE SCENERY, MIKE OLDFIELD and KEVIN AYERS. 
The drummer was also involved in NW0BHMers the E.F. BAND. 
Despite a fanfare of press Adams left within months and later turned up fronting LYIN' RAMPANT. 
He was replaced by ex-A II Z man Gary Owens.
TYTAN received substantial major record company interest, but opted to sign with indie Kamaflage Records and laid down plans to release the 'Blind Men And Fools' single during 1982 in advance of a proposed album. 
Unfortunately, despite the album being recorded albeit without Stewartie Adams or Gary Owens who also quit the group in 1982, Kamaflage Records went under before it could be released. 
It would not be before 1985 when the album, aptly titled 'Rough Justice', finally emerged through the Metal Masters label. 

Glasgow born guitarist and vocalist Stewartie Adams came back home to Scotland in 1982 and got together with old friends Cami Morlotti,Stewart Campbell and DD Gray to form a band called FALKEN. 
After a few months he then teamed up with ex HEAVY PETTIN guitarist Eddie Trainer, drummer Tam Creamer (Tam Cramer) vocalist Gordon Johnston and Cami Morlotti again, later to be replaced by Edinburgh born bass player Georgie Pringle, after the band named Escape had to be changed to form LYIN' RAMPANT, Stewartie took over the vocals when Gordon had to leave the band in 1986, they later added keyboard player Paul Stephens also from Edinburgh, There debut and only album UP and Cumin was released in 1987 by independent label Prism Records,The band eventually split in 1991 due to the unfortunate demise of Prism records and a number of line up changes.

And now in the new millennium, the Lyin Rampant and their music will be available for Rock fans in every device and every country in the world!

Praeludium is a band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, founded in 2014, earlier this summer they recorded their first EP ‘Birth’ with three compositions.
The leader of the band Gustavo Scholz is well known to have formed early 2000 the band called Alma Prisma (progressive metal genre) with whom he has played around for his country and as the opening for some international groups like Angra.
In 2007 he recorded a full album, titled "All the Gates of a new dream".
Currently Praeludium are recording new songs for the full-length album, scheduled for 2016.

Daniele Maraspin, born in 1988 in Trieste, Italy, began playing piano at the age of 6. At 11, he was admitted to the cello class at the Conservatory of Trieste. In 2004, he took guitar lessons from guitarist
Gianni Rojatti and played in local bands. On 2013, Daniele graduated with full mark and honour at the Lizard Accademy, Firenze. In the same period, he studied jazz music with Andrea Massaria.
On 2012 he began to work as music teacher at the Cam-Lizard Accademy in Monfalcone, Gorizia.
Moreover he listened dubstep music which had deeply influenced the sound of his first Ep, A Bat's Project. It mixed up extreme metal riff with incredible dubstep sound and exciting shred solos.

Daniele wanted to create a solo project.
Gianni Rojatti decided to help him in the role of music producer.
Erik Tulissio played all the drums in the Ep.
Finally Giacomo Castellano accepted to mix and master “A Bat's project” Ep.

Shivan announce third album with Heart Of Steel Records

Heart Of Steel Records is pleased to announce the gothic metal veterans SHIVAN.

Shivan were born in the 90's, from the idea of founder member Giovanni Landolina, as a band of friends in their twenties,
with a great passion for gothic/black metal (very popular in these years). In 1997 the band recorded their first four track demo titled "Bitter As Gall" (in cassette tape); it got good reviews and allowed the band to perform their first live gigs in Veneto, Italy. During the following years, took place the songwriting process, influenced by black and extreme metal while maintaining a decadent sound, that lead Shivan to record their first full-lenght "Whatever Lot's Above", released in 2002 by Pulsar Light Records. 

With Massimo "Beba" on vocals and Francesco Soccal on drums, the sound of the band changed, leaving behind the extreme side, to come closer to bands like Paradise Lost, Anathema and Moonspell and adding the anger of classic metal and dark/wave sounds. 

Several years later, this line up entered the studio to record the their second album "When Wishes Sicken": 8 tracks and a remix, done at Majestic Studios 
and published by My kingdom Music in 2007.
The band supported the release with many gigs, getting reviews, interviews and radio streams. In 2011, a cover of the song "Aurora B" by Krisma (renowned new wave/electronic band from Italy) is recorded and included in the official tribute release "Chybernation". Meanwhile, bass player Elia Dalla Pola and guitar player Fausto Cancian joined the band. Shivan are now back with a new work, which brings a more decadent and angry sound and explores the lives of each member through their emotions, fears and aspirations.

"Necessary Illusions", recorded by Rossano Palù (DB Boulevard/La Fuertezza), features 8 tracks of speed/gothic metal, where the listener is on the edge 
between the abyss and the sublime.
For fans of Anathema, Paradise Lost, Moonspell and Tiamat.

ARMONIGHT announce the fourth album

NEROCROMO MUSIC and Heart Of Steel Records are proud to present "Who we really are" the fourth album of rockers ARMONIGHT.

Armonight was born during summer 2007 from the cooperation of the guitar players Fjord and Lara.
After various line-up changes, the band stabilizes with Sy at the voice (in 2009), Frens at the bass guitar and Hokuto at the keys (both in 2010).
The drums are played by various shift-players.
Armonight’s first two albums, “Suffering and Passion” (2010) and “Tales from the Heart” (2012) are distinguished by a melancholic sound, full of keys and orchestral traits which, with the female vocals, make them to be compared to bands like Nightwish and Within Temptation. But with the third album, “Recover” (2013) Armonight show they want to keep their distance from the gothic current: the keys are drastically limited to make room for more rock guitar riffs.
With this last chapter ends a trilogy, from which three official videos are taken: “With your Knife” and “Dancing with Ghosts” from “Tales from the Heart”, and “Night of Illusions” from “Recover”.
During these eight years Armonight conquer the love and support of a huge crew of fans, even thanks to the tours around Europe and to the worldwide distribution of their albums.
2015 gives birth to the fourth work in studio of the band, “Who we really are”. The album (as the title itself says) shows the band in its inner nature. The genre is a bluesy hard rock, very different from everything that has been published before. 
A new musical era begins, and to be part of it the only think you need to do is to follow Armonight live.

The band MasterdoM was born in 2005 from an idea of Daniele Vento and twin brothers Simone and Thomas Frediani. 
Later Giuseppe Bifulco, Mirko Carrubba and Iacopo Farnocchia join the band.
Early the band plays a strong power and epic metal but after the first few songs the singer Mirko leaves the band so Simone Del Carlo replaces him.
The first demo "Angelic Riot" come in 2006 followed by a lot of live concerts. 
During the summer of 2007 Davide joins MasterdoM as new bass blayer and the band decides to change their musical genre to approach a more classical Heavy Metal style.
The second demo "The Metal Goddess" arrive in 2009 with a nice feedback and a tour around Tuscany, followed by a new demo in 2010 "Wings of Freedom", year in which Andrea become officially the new bassist of the band.
After several line-up changes the band decides to re-arrange the songs and their sound is meaner and scratching.
Later in 2014 MasterdoM enters the studio, Lupo Records in Lucca, to record their first album "Schizophrenia".
The band has released radio interviews and shared the stage with great artists as Tank, White Skull, Dark Quarterer, Seventh Seal, Renegade, Hollywood Groupies, Frozen Tears, Housebreaking and many others during their tours!
