After Mammothfest's colossal festival last month with 3 UK exclusive headliners Rotting Christ, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Amenra it's now time to celebrate and get ready for the festivities! So come along and enjoy this mental Christmas bash with headliners Evil Scarecrow bringing their insane antics and dance moves! Support comes from popular local horror punk act Hell Puppets, electronic metal ravers Magna Carta (ex CollisionsUk / Terrathorn and ex Meta-stasis member) and lastly captivating atmospheric black metal from Sorrow Plagues! MelodicRockFest Australia is taking place in Melbourne on May 13 and 14, 2016 at the Elephant & Wheelbarrow in St. Kilda.
International Headline acts Eclipse (Sweden) and Paul Laine (Canada)(ex-Danger Danger) will be joined by Australia’s brightest rock talent, including BB Steal, Black Majesty, Vanishing Point, The Radio Sun, Serpentine Sky, White Widdow and Teargas.
H.E.A.T vocalist and event special guest Erik Gronwall will be doing a FULL SOLO SET with the help of a few locals. Yes! That's plugged in, full band, in your face Erik Gronwall! Pumping out an hour of solo and H.E.A.T tracks, Erik was only too happy to jump in and help out in the wake of Mitch Malloy's withdrawal. He made only 1 request. In order to deliver a knockout set, he would need a one of his buddies to help. So please welcome H.E.A.T's own Jona Tee to MelodicRockFest! Jona will join Erik for his set and will also hang out for the weekend to meet local fans.

AVAILABLE NOW - STEEL PANTHER RELEASES FIRST FILM AND ACOUSTIC ALBUM WITH “LIVE FROM LEXXI’S MOM’S GARAGE”
DVD, XXXCLUSIVE MERCHANDISE BUNDLES, AND LATEST TOUR DATES NOW AVAILABLE AT STEELPANTHERROCKS.COM
Trailer and exclusive clips from “Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage” can be found HERE:
(West Hollywood, CA) – The internationally renowned glam rock band Steel Panther today released “Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage,” the band’s first full length film featuring a live ten song acoustic concert interspersed with comedic vignettes showcasing the band’s unmatched shenanigans and debauchery. The one hour film is now available on DVD from Steel Panther’s label, Kobalt Records, at SteelPantherRocks.com. Along with the DVD, Steel Panther fans or “fanthers,” can purchase t-shirts and other merchandise HERE. The album only version can be found on Amazon, iTunes, and wherever music is sold.
For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000 and is Michael Starr (lead singer), Satchel (guitarist), Lexxi Foxx (bass) and Stix Zadinia (drums).
“Live From Lexxi’s Mom Garage is one of the best movies to ever be released in history. I know that for a fact, because Lexxi’s mom told me!” said Michael Starr. “If you like rocking out with half-naked chicks, partying all night, and killer music, then you will love this,” he added.
“Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage” was taped in Los Angeles last October in front of a live audience of scantily clad woman (and one old creepy fat guy who somehow got a ticket) inside the uncharacteristically large and professionally lit garage of Ms. Foxx (Bobbie Brown), who coincidentally also happens to be the mother of Lexxi Foxx. The musical portions of the film feature the band performing acoustic versions of their most popular songs such as “Party Like Tomorrow is the End of the World” and “Community Property” as well as one new song titled, “That’s When You Came In.” Several female violin players who are “very easy on the eyes,” says Stix, are featured and play through the various hits with the band.
Between songs, the film follows the mischievousness of Steel Panther as they figure out who they can and cannot sleep with.
Steel Panther recently wrapped their ‘Well Hungover” North American headlining tour and last week announced a new UK arena tour. The UK run will fire up in Wacken, Germany at Wacken Open Air on 8/6, crisscross Europe and end at The Birmingham Barclay Card Arena on 10/19.
A full tour schedule can be found at the bottom of this release.
Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther has established themselves as the world’s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. With three full-length albums, touring across the world, platinum-level You Tube status and high-profile television appearances such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, Larry King Now, and FOX NFL Sunday, the band is touring in support of their latest effort, All You Can Eat (Open E Records via Kobalt Label Services). Released in April, 2014 to rave reviews the album bowed at #24 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart; which also garnered the band their third consecutive #1 album on the Top Current Comedy chart.
Below their latest music video for “Pussywhipped”
Of All You Can Eat, Rolling Stone avowed, “There’s a reason Steel Panther have transcended their origins as a cover band playing the Sunset Strip”, while Metal Sucks declared, “Steel Panther’s concept is genius…their songwriting is…preposterously snappy – and relatable.” Click HERE to check out the music video for “The Burden of Being Wonderful.”
