Jim Breuer has launched a video for Old School

Following an appearance on Howard Stern yesterday (June 7th), Jim Breuer has launched a video for "Old School", taken from Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy's new album, Songs From The Garage. Staying true to the theme of the album, the video begins in Breuer's garage and shows him paying tribute to the rock legends that inspired this musical endeavor in the first place. He and his backing band work their way from practicing in a garage to playing a huge venue, with guest appearances from Ozzy Osbourne, Brian Johnson, and even Kurt Cobain. Breuer says of the track: "This song is the perfect catchy summertime Hard Rock tune for you, and it's a throwback! It's 'OLD SCHOOL'". To watch "Old School",

Super group The International Swingers now on Pledge Music

The International Swingers is a new punk rock group made up of four long term friends; Clem Burke, Glen Matlock, James Stevenson and Gary Twinn. We started the band for fun and a one off Australian tour but quickly realized that we had something a little more special. So we started to write new songs together and soon had more than enough for what they used to call an “album”. We’ve all been around the block a few times and strongly believe in that old punk tradition of playing by our own rules. A fan of the band suggested we check out PledgeMusic. We did and we agree that it’s a fantastic way for us to communicate directly with those of you who dig our music and understand where we’re all coming from. Our correspondent from San Diego, Lucas H. Gordon met the legendary guitarist Craig Goldy,  most notably of the band Dio, to submit an interview.
Craig Goldy Talked about Ronnie James Dio, New Solo Project and the experience with Uk legend Budgie.

Goldy was born in San Diego, California, before Dio, he played in the bands Vengeance, Rough Cutt, and Giuffria. 
He replaced Jake E. Lee in Rough Cutt and was himself replaced by Amir Derakh. 
While with Rough Cutt, Goldy played on demos produced by Ronnie James Dio.
Goldy performed on the fantastic Dio album Dream Evil, but this first stint with the band was short lived and he left due to unknown reasons. 

In 2000, Goldy returned to Dio and helped record Magica, but shortly thereafter left again due to family commitments. 

However, Goldy was back in the Dio fold for what turned out to be the band's final studio album, Master of the Moon, in 2004. 
Goldy temporarily left the group for the third time in 2005, after suffering a hand injury on tour through Russia. 
He was again replaced by Doug Aldrich for the duration of the tour.
Goldy and Warren DeMartini(Ratt) are currently the only members left of the original Dio Disciples line-up.

Glass Targets Brit Pop Rock debut EP

NEROCROMO MUSIC is proud to presents the melodic Brit Pop project GLASS TARGETS.
Glass Targets is a pop rock project that was set up by UK based songwriter Paul Hewitt. Glass Targets debut EP is titled ‘Memories of Youth’ and features 6 melodic pop songs with strong hooks and a highly commercial sound. The recording was produced by Darren Monson from Apple Beam studios in the UK and features guest vocals from Romany and David.    


Paul is a songwriter from the London area who writes songs primarily in a pop rock style. He is equally accomplished at writing both lyrics and music. 
Paul grew up in Blackpool in the North West of England and first became seriously interested in music in the late 1980’s after being given a copy of Appetite for Destruction by Guns ‘N’ Roses on cassette tape. In 1990 Paul attended his first live concert aged 10, which was Guns ‘N’ Roses Use Your Illusion tour at Wembley Stadium.  This was the performance that inspired Paul to take up the guitar. 
Throughout the 90s Paul expanded his musical influences to cover a wide range of 90’s rock including Nirvana, Pixies, REM, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine and Idlewild. Paul began writing songs of his own and played guitar in various local rock bands at small venues around the North West of England. 

In the 2000’s Paul ‘retired’ from the local band scene but continued to write guitar based rock songs and began recording them on a basic home recording set up. Looking to add some further depth to his songwriting, Paul taught himself some studio basics and began using drum machines and synthesizers in his music. 
In 2013 Paul decided to shift his focus from guitar based rock music to writing more commercial pop rock style songs. 
After recording a number of songs using a basic home recording setup, he approached Darren Monson of Apple Beam studios in the UK to produce the songs to a standard that would be ready for release.

On this Ep, Steve played every instrument following everything from recording to mixing, mastering and production as its a showcase for his new Manne Signature Guitar called "The Silver Skull Legend". Residing in Treviso (Italy), Steve Saluto began playing guitar at the age of fifteen. After taking jazz guitar lessons, he was inspired by the Eddie Van Halen solo in Michael Jackson's "Beat It" to take up playing rock. The guitar whiz has never looked back... The seed was planted and the rest is music history in the making.

In addition to being a talented guitar player and band leader, Steve is an in-demand writer and producer for up-and-coming artists as well as working with legendary musicians alike. As a recording artist, Steve has written and produced 12 solo / band recordings featuring his diverse guitar styles ranging from jazz to rock and playing and recording with musicians such as Buddy Miles, Darryl Jones (Sting/Rolling Stones), Danny Gottlieb (Pat Metheny Group), Jeff Berlin, Doug Wimbish (Living Colours), Brian Tichy (Billy Idol/Foreigner), Richie Kotzen (Poison/Mr Big), Oni Logan (Lynch Mob) just to name a few. And, he also owns a recording studio in San Biagio di Callalta (TV).

"The Silver Skull Legend" feature 4 diverse songs that while the foundations are rock, Saluto isn’t afraid to add colors of R&B, funk and hard-hitting provocative melodic rock too. UFO new album on February

The rumours have been doing the rounds for months, now it's official at last: 23 February 2015 will see the European release (Germany: 20 February 2015 / USA: 3 March 2015) of the latest studio recording by British rock legend UFO, their 22nd to date.

The album will be called A Conspiracy Of Stars, and the band consisting of Phil Mogg (vocals), Paul Raymond (keyboards, guitar), Vinnie Moore (guitar), Andy Parker (drums) and Rob De Luca (bass) have recorded almost a dozen fantastic new songs, produced and mixed in the Kentish town of Deal by Chris Tsangarides, renowned for his work with acts such as Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore. A Conspiracy Of Stars will be available as a Digipak (including poster and bonus track), jewel case, vinyl double LP and for download.

More or less simultaneously with the release, UFO are scheduled to go on tour in February and March 2015, playing Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Switzerland, and more, followed by a tour of Britain and Ireland in April and May.

The band is already looking forward to the reactions to their latest release: "A Conspiracy Of Stars is another successful combination of those typical UFO elements with fresh, contemporary ideas. We're confident that not only our longstanding supporters will get their money's worth, but that younger rock fans will also enjoy the album. We look forward to seeing you on tour!"

In Le Griffe’s days, Bands passed Demo’s between Members in Cassette form , But todays Technology advances allow Groups to Record Hi Quality Products which can be shared over the Internet within minuits. Breaking Chain were formed in March 2014 , but the story Begins 2 years earlier when a Search through Rob’s Garage Files revealed a Photograph of the 1st Line up of Le Griffe . 
The Black & White picture was scanned, uploaded to Robs Facebook page & a Normal afternoon of family life was begun . Later on that Saturday afternoon Rob Logged back onto facebook , to find Messages about the picture , from All over the world . Fans of Le Griffe from Japan , Brazil , Italy , Portugal got in touch & were asking questions about this Original line up . The extent of
“Interest” in Le Griffe prompted Rob to attempt a reunion , but this was Not to be . A further attempt of a reunion was made by Robs fellow member of No Favors ( Neil Ogden ) , who was playing at that time in NWOBHM band Demon , & also in new Band “Lawless” , as there was an AOR & NWOBHM festival being staged in the Stoke-on-Trent area ,
But Again, This was Not to be .So , out of Disappointment comes a Totally New Band, Full of Passion, Drive & Dedication .
Work started on a track called “Real”, This is a Beginning , This is a Great Start . 
This is EVERYTHING .

Tygers Of Pan Tang presents Tygers Sessions: The First Wave

Tygers Of Pan Tang Reveal Cover Artwork Of The "Tygers Sessions: The First Wave" Album, Confirm New Tour Dates.

The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal pioneers TYGERS OF PAN TANG, will release a special limited edition album titled "Tygers Sessions: The First Wave" via Skol Records. The CD will be limited to only 1000 copies, and will include 11 classic songs of the band, re-recorded for the anniversary EP releases: "The Wildcat Sessions" and "The Spellbound Sessions", which were originally available through the band's fan-club and website only, and quickly sold out. The album's cover artwork has been painted by Italian artist Roberto Toderico, known for his artistic calibration's with numerous Rock and Metal acts.

The "Tygers Sessions: The First Wave" CD will be released on February 28, 2015, and will include thick booklet with lyrics, liner notes, and lot of previously unseen pictures. Commented TYGERS OF PAN TANG founding member and guitarist, Robb Weir, "I am very proud of the band's history as well as the current lineup. We should never forget the TYGERS history and hope this shows we will always recognise the early days of the band. There are a lot of bands that want to modernise their sound or image and forget what made them great in the beginning… I am not one of them". "We are very pleased with the end result, in particular with the recorded sound achieved, it really does capture the early '80s NWOBHM spirit and feel we were looking for.

 To achieve that raw, almost 'live' vibe to the sound, we even replicated the microphone positioning that was used on the original recording" he adds.

Frontiers Music Srl has announced a March 20th release date for TOTO XIV in Europe, with The UK and Oceania on March 23rd and North America on March 24th. The album will hit retail globally, with specific dates for territories in Asia, South America and others to follow.

Configurations include CD, with a deluxe edition featuring a "making of" documentary on DVD, expanded booklet that includes an in depth story and interview about the new album alongside exclusive pictures in ecol-book packaging. Additionally Toto XIV will be available as a 2 LP vinyl set, and a Super Deluxe limited edition which includes the Deluxe CD/DVD edition, 2 LP vinyl, an exclusive poster, t-shirt (large size only) and lithograph. 

The album will be available via all digital retailers. A pre-order has gone live via Amazon for the LP , CD and Deluxe Edition .

The new album is a realized vision three plus decades in the making exhibiting world-class musicianship, masterful arrangements, topical lyrical commentary, and melodies that the collective genius of Lukather, Paich, Porcaro, Williams and their assembled band-mates bring to life. TOTO XIV is the band’s first album of new material since 2006’s Falling In Between.  However, the band personally considers the new album to be the true follow-up to TOTO IV, which made the band global superstars.

Keyboardist Steve Porcaro reveals, "This is opposite of going through the motions.  We are treating this like it is Toto V, our follow-up to TOTO IV. We just want to be the best version of ourselves that we can be. Be true to ourselves and make the best music we can.  Entertain people which is what we were put on this Earth for."  Keyboardist David Paich reflects, "I think of TOTO as a unit and a band that carries a responsibility when it goes out there in to the public consciousness. There is so much negativity and darkness that I think you have to be as Quincy Jones puts it, 'beams of light that blast through the darkness'." 

As they began the process of a return the studio, all of the principle long-term members brought their A-game to the table.  Guitarist Steve "Luke" Lukather offers, "When you put us in a room, and everybody brings in their pieces, the next thing you know it all fits together. Everybody's performances are top notch.  We are really bringing our best out, forcing ourselves to make personal best choices, what's best for the music. I'm really excited to hear what people think."  Singer Joseph Williams adds, "We are talking about a band where everybody is a writer, and everybody is a lead singer, and everybody is a player. All involved brought this trio to the table where it could just live on its own." 

Founding bassist David Hungate returns to the fold, about whom Luke simply offers, "No one plays like David Hungate." Drums were performed by Keith Carlock who's commitments to Steely Dan prohibit him from participating in the 2015 World Tour.  Shannon Forest will be behind the kit, who was a part of the band's 2014 North American run. Luke offers, "Shannon is a world class drummer and we are honored to have him back with us."

The sessions were co-produced by CJ Vanston, who Paich looks upon as, "everything a producer is supposed to be and more - a musician’s producer."  Vanston states, "There have never been better musicians on the planet, especially in a band together.  This is an amazing record and I am completely thrilled to be a part of it. This is a dream job for me." 

Porcaro offers an additional thought stating, "I think the band is hit upon a very healthy creative tension for this project.  I'm very excited about it."  For Williams he reflects, "Just imagine being able to stand on stage in front of enormous crowd of people, and you are playing great music with the best musicians in the world, and you look around, and they are some of your best friends in the world.  It's the best feeling any person could have."  For Porcaro he shares, "It is kind of hard to find words of what it means to have a smile on your face to go to work every day and we have the fans to thank for that - so thank you."

The band will hit the ground running with an extensive European headline arena tour with appearances at key festivals. The itinerary begins in Glasgow on May 21, and takes Toto through the UK, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Italy, and Belgium. Ticket sales came out of the box with strength, with some appearances selling out within days of on-sale.  A North American tour will follow in the summer of 2015. The band is also in the planning stages for their return to Asia later this year.

The last couple of years have been active, with a seven show sold-out tour of Asia that took them through Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai and Sapporo in April, 2014.  Also that month, the 35th Anniversary Tour - Live In Poland title was released, debuting at #1 in territories across the globe. Last August and September, the band hit the road travelling across North America as co-headliners with Michael McDonald, which when it was all said and done was their most comprehensive tour on the continent in years. 

Historically, few ensembles in the history of recorded music have individually or collectively had a larger imprint on pop culture than the members of TOTO.  As individuals, the band members’ imprint can be heard on an astonishing 5000 albums that together amass a sales history of a HALF A BILLION albums.  Amongst these recordings, NARAS applauded the performances with 225 Grammy nominations. TOTO sold 35 million albums, and today continue to be a worldwide arena draw staging standing room only events across the globe.  They are pop culture, and are one of the few 70s bands that have endured the changing trends and styles, and 35 plus years in to a career enjoy a multi-generational fan base.  It is not an exaggeration to estimate that 95% of the world's population has heard a performance by a member of TOTO. 

Toto also continues to raise awareness for ALS, for their brother and friend, Mike Porcaro, who has been diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease. The band commits energies towards fundraising for Police and Fire Departments of California and the Fallen Heroes Initiative (http://www.fallenheroes.org/), and help the United Nations in their humanitarian endeavors through music.
