RESISTANCE Unveils Cover Artwork And Track Listing Of New Album

Formed in 2000, RESISTANCE are a Los Angeles based Heavy Metal band delivering a full on Metal assault from a broad range of influences. The band signed with Finland's Lion Music in 2004 and released two critically acclaimed albums: "Lies In Black" (2004) and the conceptual Metal masterpiece "Patents Of Control" (2007). In 2015 the band returned with the "Battle Scars" EP, and most recently inked a deal with No Remorse Records, which will release their brand new studio album, "Metal Machine". First reviews describe the album as "US Power Metal for fans of Metal Church and Liege Lord".

"Metal Machine" was produced and engineered by Dan Luna, Bill Metoyer and Resistance, and was is mixed and mastered by Neil Kernon. Album's cover artwork was painted by Dusan Markovic. "Metal Machine" will hit the streets on June 27, 2017, and will include 8 songs, including cover version of the Scorpions classic "Blackout".

Armonight was born during summer 2007 from the cooperation of the guitar players Fjord and Lara.
After various line-up changes, the band stabilizes with Sy at the voice (in 2009), Frens at the bass guitar and Hokuto at the keys (both in 2010).
The drums are played by various shift-players.
Armonight’s first two albums, “Suffering and Passion” (2010) and “Tales from the Heart” (2012) are distinguished by a melancholic sound, full of keys and orchestral traits which, with the female vocals, make them to be compared to bands like Nightwish and Within Temptation. But with the third album, “Recover” (2013) Armonight show they want to keep their distance from the gothic current: the keys are drastically limited to make room for more rock guitar riffs.
With this last chapter ends a trilogy, from which three official videos are taken: “With your Knife” and “Dancing with Ghosts” from “Tales from the Heart”, and “Night of Illusions” from “Recover”.
During these eight years Armonight conquer the love and support of a huge crew of fans, even thanks to the tours around Europe and to the worldwide distribution of their albums.
2015 gives birth to the fourth work in studio of the band, “Who we really are”. The album (as the title itself says) shows the band in its inner nature. The genre is a bluesy hard rock, very different from everything that has been published before. 
A new musical era begins, and to be part of it the only think you need to do is to follow Armonight live.

The band MasterdoM was born in 2005 from an idea of Daniele Vento and twin brothers Simone and Thomas Frediani. 
Later Giuseppe Bifulco, Mirko Carrubba and Iacopo Farnocchia join the band.
Early the band plays a strong power and epic metal but after the first few songs the singer Mirko leaves the band so Simone Del Carlo replaces him.
The first demo "Angelic Riot" come in 2006 followed by a lot of live concerts. 
During the summer of 2007 Davide joins MasterdoM as new bass blayer and the band decides to change their musical genre to approach a more classical Heavy Metal style.
The second demo "The Metal Goddess" arrive in 2009 with a nice feedback and a tour around Tuscany, followed by a new demo in 2010 "Wings of Freedom", year in which Andrea become officially the new bassist of the band.
After several line-up changes the band decides to re-arrange the songs and their sound is meaner and scratching.
Later in 2014 MasterdoM enters the studio, Lupo Records in Lucca, to record their first album "Schizophrenia".
The band has released radio interviews and shared the stage with great artists as Tank, White Skull, Dark Quarterer, Seventh Seal, Renegade, Hollywood Groupies, Frozen Tears, Housebreaking and many others during their tours!

When MOXY first exploded onto the scene in 1974 with their hit song ‘Can’t You See I’m a Star’ they were destined to become part of the alumni of heavy hitting Canadians making a mark in the U.S.A. The promising sound of the single received heavy radio support from CHUM (AM) in Toronto and led to the band’s signing of a contract with Polydor Records of Canada in December 1974. The Polydor Records contract was mainly due to the popularity and reputation of lead vocalist Buzz Shearman.

After a few years of touring, MOXY went from a bar band to headline concert attraction in Canada. MOXY II was recorded in the band’s hometown of Toronto at Sound Stage studio with famed Aerosmith producer Jack Douglas.

Just a year after the first album for Canadian fans, but three short months after the reissued copy of MOXY I was released in the U.S. MOXY II received international press coverage for the band. Most reviews predicted success for the band and comparisons were made to Aerosmith, Rush and Deep Purple. MOXY II was also highly acclaimed on its release by Geoff Barton of the UK music publication Sounds (magazine), who made the album available to its readers for the special price of only £1.50. Geoff Barton would later refer to MOXY as the Canadian Led Zeppelin.

MOXY saw success touring the U.S. with the likes of such artists as Boston, Styx, AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Rainbow. In March 1980, Buzz was a candidate to replace the deceased Bon Scott in AC/DC but because his recurring vocal cord problems would not allow him to tour extensively, AC/DC band members ultimately decided on ex-Geordie singer Brian Johnson. In 1982, Buzz, Earl and Bill helped fellow Canadian singer/songwriter Lee Aaron on her debut album called “The Lee Aaron Project”. By 1983, Buzz was working a day job at Shaw Industries, just barely holding MOXY together while shopping around for a new record deal. Then tragedy struck when Buzz died in a motorcycle accident, on June 16, 1983, at the age of 33, just north of Toronto.

FAST FORWARD!!!!!!! After writing and recording new material over the years with different versions of MOXY, the time had come to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legacy and do it right! So a new band was assembled for just an occasion. So along with founding member Earl Johnson an international cast of musicians were brought on board, including Juno award winning vocalist Nick Walsh all materials are newly recorded.

MOXY are an institution and this package will be eagerly received by fans old and new.

Our correspondent from San Diego, Lucas H. Gordon met the legendary guitarist Craig Goldy,  most notably of the band Dio, to submit an interview.
Craig Goldy Talked about Ronnie James Dio, New Solo Project and the experience with Uk legend Budgie.

Goldy was born in San Diego, California, before Dio, he played in the bands Vengeance, Rough Cutt, and Giuffria. 
He replaced Jake E. Lee in Rough Cutt and was himself replaced by Amir Derakh. 
While with Rough Cutt, Goldy played on demos produced by Ronnie James Dio.
Goldy performed on the fantastic Dio album Dream Evil, but this first stint with the band was short lived and he left due to unknown reasons. 

In 2000, Goldy returned to Dio and helped record Magica, but shortly thereafter left again due to family commitments. 

However, Goldy was back in the Dio fold for what turned out to be the band's final studio album, Master of the Moon, in 2004. 
Goldy temporarily left the group for the third time in 2005, after suffering a hand injury on tour through Russia. 
He was again replaced by Doug Aldrich for the duration of the tour.
Goldy and Warren DeMartini(Ratt) are currently the only members left of the original Dio Disciples line-up.

UFO new album on February

The rumours have been doing the rounds for months, now it's official at last: 23 February 2015 will see the European release (Germany: 20 February 2015 / USA: 3 March 2015) of the latest studio recording by British rock legend UFO, their 22nd to date.

The album will be called A Conspiracy Of Stars, and the band consisting of Phil Mogg (vocals), Paul Raymond (keyboards, guitar), Vinnie Moore (guitar), Andy Parker (drums) and Rob De Luca (bass) have recorded almost a dozen fantastic new songs, produced and mixed in the Kentish town of Deal by Chris Tsangarides, renowned for his work with acts such as Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore. A Conspiracy Of Stars will be available as a Digipak (including poster and bonus track), jewel case, vinyl double LP and for download.

More or less simultaneously with the release, UFO are scheduled to go on tour in February and March 2015, playing Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Switzerland, and more, followed by a tour of Britain and Ireland in April and May.

The band is already looking forward to the reactions to their latest release: "A Conspiracy Of Stars is another successful combination of those typical UFO elements with fresh, contemporary ideas. We're confident that not only our longstanding supporters will get their money's worth, but that younger rock fans will also enjoy the album. We look forward to seeing you on tour!"

      20th February in Germany
      23rd February in the UK and the rest of Europe
      3rd March in the USA and Canada
The European leg of the tour will start in Germany on 20th February.

The “Distinctive” Twin Harmony Guitars Have been Refreshed & Modernised and are about to be Dragged “Screaming for mercy ”, into Modern Day Rock Anthems . 
The Intentions aren’t to be a “Copy” of Le Griffe, but seeing as Rob & Paul were an Integral part of the song writing partnership on the 3 Vinyl Releases in the mid 80’s ( along with the other members of Le Griffe ) then there will Inevitably be a Lot of “Comparison” between Any New material From Breaking Chain & their Former Band .
In Le Griffe’s days, Bands passed Demo’s between Members in Cassette form , But todays Technology advances allow Groups to Record Hi Quality Products which can be shared over the Internet within minuits. Breaking Chain have the Structure , & Now the Skills to do this , as “Drive Studio’s” ( running ProTools 10 ) is the Bands Own
Recording & mixing facility , Run & constantly Updated by the Mad Head Bass Player , where Demo’s of New songs can be recorded & instantly sent to individual Band members.

Breaking Chain were formed in March 2014 , but the story Begins 2 years earlier when a Search through Rob’s Garage Files revealed a Photograph of the 1st Line up of Le Griffe . 
The Black & White picture was scanned, uploaded to Robs Facebook page & a Normal afternoon of family life was begun . Later on that Saturday afternoon Rob Logged back onto facebook , to find Messages about the picture , from All over the world . Fans of Le Griffe from Japan , Brazil , Italy , Portugal got in touch & were asking questions about this Original line up . The extent of
“Interest” in Le Griffe prompted Rob to attempt a reunion , but this was Not to be . A further attempt of a reunion was made by Robs fellow member of No Favors ( Neil Ogden ) , who was playing at that time in NWOBHM band Demon , & also in new Band “Lawless” , as there was an AOR & NWOBHM festival being staged in the Stoke-on-Trent area ,
But Again, This was Not to be .So , out of Disappointment comes a Totally New Band, Full of Passion, Drive & Dedication .
Work started on a track called “Real”, This is a Beginning , This is a Great Start . 
This is EVERYTHING .
